Minimally Invasive Surgery

Our fellowship-trained surgeons, highly sub-specialized surgeons, and general orthopedic surgeons employ advanced techniques to treat all types of musculoskeletal conditions. Fellowship training is the highest level of training a physician can achieve in the orthopedic subspecialties. Our physicians’ expertise combined with the advances in surgical techniques underscores our commitment to achieve and surpass the standard of care in sports medicine.

Arthroscopic Surgery

Our physicians remain at the forefront of orthopedics by applying established and advanced arthroscopic techniques for the treatment of a variety of disorders of the knee, shoulder, elbow, ankle, wrist, and hip. By treating an increasing number of joint problems using minimally invasive techniques, we extend the benefits of arthroscopy to more patients, including faster recovery, better pain relief, and improved, early rehabilitation.

Cartilage Restoration Surgery

Over two million people in the United States suffer cartilage problems every year. Because cartilage has limited ability to repair itself, our physician expertise in this subspecialty is critical in resolving pain, restoring function, and in some cases, delaying the progression of arthritis through the use of new techniques and treatments. Our fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in this procedure has earned the additional certification required to perform the latest surgical techniques to repair difficult cartilage injuries. He has also conducted research, and given numerous lectures on the subject.

Foot & Ankle Surgery

We are leaders in foot and ankle surgery, a highly specialized practice. Our fellowship-trained surgeon was one of the first in the region to apply arthroscopic techniques to the treatment of subtalar joint problems. He has published many articles in a variety of orthopedic journals. With clinical experience in treating injuries ranging from sprains and stress fractures to arthritis and deformities, we offer a full spectrum of casting and bracing options and work closely with onsite prosthetic and orthotic experts for custom-molded inserts and braces.

Fractures and Musculoskeletal Trauma

From stress fractures due to overuse to traumatic compound fractures, our goal is to restore mobility and function as quickly as possible. In addition to a physician dedicated to fracture surgery, we have physicians who specialize in fracture treatment and have expertise in treating specific injuries to the hand and spine. We also have surgeons who specialize in joint reconstruction of the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow.

Hand Surgery

The anatomy of the hand and wrist is extremely intricate and treatment of these injuries has become a highly sub-specialized art. Led by our fellowship-trained hand surgeon, our hand surgery specialty has earned trust and recognition throughout the region over the last 25 years. We treat people with disorders of the hand and wrist from fractures and dislocations, to tendon disruptions, ligament tears, nerve compression, arthritis, joint stiffness, lacerations, and fingernail injuries.
Joint Replacement Surgery
Our primary goal is to minimize the impact of arthritis on quality of life and return people to an active and healthy lifestyle. We take a comprehensive approach to treating arthritis, maximizing patient outcomes, and offering a full range of contemporary treatment options from therapeutic injections, arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, and aquatic treatment programs. Our surgeons are highly qualified and understand the complexities of joint replacement procedures of the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow. By applying the newest techniques including minimally invasive hip and knee replacement and partial knee replacement, we can more quickly restore patient comfort and mobility.
Shoulder & Elbow Surgery
From tendon repairs to the treatment of fractures, dislocations, sports-related injuries, and arthritis, shoulder and elbow surgery has become a highly developed sub specialized field. Our fellowship-trained and highly experienced physicians treat all types of conditions with the latest techniques. We are successful in treating not only acute injuries, but also longstanding problems not improved with conservative care and continued problems following previous operations. We have performed more reverse shoulder replacement procedures than any orthopedic practice in the state and our physicians have been instrumental in developing innovative treatments for arthritis in young and active patients.
Spine Surgery
The delicate interaction between the musculoskeletal and nervous systems has resulted in the highly sub specialized field of spine surgery, which requires advanced training using sophisticated technology. Directed by our fellowship-trained surgeon in disorders affecting cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, we employ superior surgical techniques for a wide variety of spine problems. We perform complex reconstructive procedures including degenerative conditions of the neck and lower back and spinal deformities and we treat patients who have undergone failed previous operative and non-operative treatments for chronic spine problems.
