Dr. Parsons has specialty training in shoulder and elbow surgery and divides his practice between the treatment of shoulder and elbow injuries and the treatment of arthritis conditions of both the upper and lower extremities, including joint replacement procedures for the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow. He has a particular interest in arthroscopic approaches to treatment and in the treatment of complex reconstructive problems including primary and revision joint replacement and repairing failed prior surgeries. In addition, he is committed to: developing and applying regenerative techniques to optimize the body’s healing of musculoskeletal injuries, measuring the effectiveness of orthopedic treatments by clinical outcome studies, and educating patients about lifetime fitness for the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Parsons’ work has fostered numerous publications and presentations at national and international meetings. He is on staff at Wentworth-Douglass in Dover, NH, and Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH.
