Gavin R. Webb, MD SCFA Orthopedic Director UNH Team Physician Sports Medicine - Fellowship Trained Arthroscopy Cartilage Restoration Surgery
Dr.Webb is the Orthopedic Director at SCFA and a UNH Wildcats Team Physician. He is fellowship trained in Sports Medicine; the most advanced training an orthopedic surgeon can attain. Dr. Webb completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. While there, he served as an assistant team physician for the Boston Celtics and the Northeastern Huskies. Dr. Webb treats a wide variety of conditions affecting the shoulder and knee and has a particular interest in sports medicine and the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries in patients of all ages. Dr.Webb has conducted research and lectured on many aspects of cartilage injuries and has presented papers at national and international meetings. He has expertise in cartilage restoration procedures and alternatives to total knee replacement surgery in younger patients.
