Dr. Blitzer is the Team Physician for UNH Women’s Hockey. He has a special interest in the care of arthroscopic surgery and fractures and has published articles on skiing injuries, arthroscopy, and fractures. He serves on the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons’ Board of Councilors and is currently President Elect of the New Hampshire Medical. Dr. Blitzer is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is on staff at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH, and Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH. He also has privileges at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH.
